A native New Yorker, Wanda's passion has always been art, and The Metropolitan Museum of Art was her home away from home.
In 1976 Wanda moved to Kansas City. In 2007 she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Central Missouri in both Commercial Art and Studio Art with concentrations in Illustration and Painting. She also has an Associate of Applied Science degree in Graphic Design and has worked as a graphic designer.
Wanda won Best of Show and Honorable Mention at the Raytown Community Arts Festival in 2008.
Her pieces have also been on display at Westwood City Hall in Westwood, Kansas, and various group exhibits. Her medium of choice is acrylics, although she also enjoys working in oils, pastels and graphite.
Wanda is now a freelance artist in the Kansas City area where she resides with her husband, a cat and a dog.
